Zombie costume is easy but the makeup really need a lot of effort and details! If I have the chance I would want to try to be a zombie for Halloween next time, haha.

What about you? If you have the opportunity, what would you like to dress up as?

Enjoy your Sunday people! Happy Halloween =)

Dare You to Move!

In life its always easier to give up sometimes. Its always a choice that seems so effortless. So convenient and so right. I am just an imperfect person. No one has the rights to accuse me for my imperfect decision, because no one is perfect. So don't tell me that everything is going to be okay. That it will all be fine.

Words of a men will never last. How can I be sure that eventually everything will be alright? Do you men have the power to determine my future? Or even the future of my next generation? I start to push away everyone that cares. Their comfort will only cause pain to me.

It was always an excuse I gave myself when I was down. When my world seems to be crumbling down. When nothing was suppose to be like I hope it to be. I felt that life is so unfair. Why does bad things always happened to me? I became bitter. I choose to give up.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you", says the LORD, "thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope".
-Jeremiah 29:11

A future and a hope? Thoughts of peace and not of evil? but God... do I deserve all this? Where is the future and hope in all this? Why is this evil and not peace?

I complaint and I blame a lot at this stage, but today I realize the truth.

I believe everything happened for a reason, and that reason will only be revealed to us when we have the courage to be bold enough to trust in the Lord, and overcoming the mountain in front of us. Words of men might failed us, but Word of God will always stays the same yesterday, today and forever.

I just needed to have faith to believe that the difficulty I'm going through, is a path for a greater testimony of my life. It will be my conviction to help others to overcome the same difficulty. My strength might be limited but with God, my strength is limitless, with God, I am a conqueror and I am an over-comer.

You will face difficulty in your life. Once it happened, it will be unacceptable. Remember that God thinks about you and your future. Learn to see things through His eyes, and you will know why. It won't be easy but its your only way out.

I'm dedicating this for a friend of mine. I would like to see you overcome your difficulty and come back with an inspiring story to tell. How you encounter God and how He gives you strength and how He healed you in the end.

I dare you to move!

Have a blessed weekend everyone!

I'm Feeling Fly!

Sorry about the vanity of my first Wordless Wednesday yesterday. Somehow it became a failed marketing strategy of mine as I'm trying to spurred out your curiosity which will lead you to click on the picture that you thought was suppose to be there and by that, it will lead you to room8five's Facebook page, haha.

Anyway, thanks to Fly FM for making me feeling FLY cause I JUST WON FREE MOVIE PASSES FROM FLY FM TO WATCH THE MOVIE 'IN TIME'! I am so excited (to be honest) not because of the movie but because it's my first time winning something from the radio! Woohooo!

Just the other day I get frustrated when I'm not the winner and my guy boss was asking me how much 50 cent have I actually spend to try and win something from the radio, haha. Looking back at my sms log, I've only sms them once for registration and 3 times for trying to win free tickets :D

Well, now that I can't win anything from Fly Fm within 30 days... it's time for me to switch to another radio channel and try to win something there! So how was your Diwali's holiday? Do drop by a comment below!

*Happy mode!*

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Movie Review: Easy A (2010)

Teenagiously Funny 8/10

Where was I when the movie was released last year? This is truly an amazingly smartly constructed script writing and story telling film. It's darn nice! Love it! Love it! Love Emma Stone here!

I really salute Bert V. Royal for writing such an amazing film. The dialogues was all so brilliantly arrange and it was perfectly well balance between humor and the true emotions of the message. I really feel smart after watching this movie.

Oh gosh, if you haven't watch this, it is highly recommended to watch. One of the best and none idiotic teen comedy ever.

Marianne: There's a higher power that will judge you for your indecency.
Olive Penderghast: Tom Cruise?

AHAHAHAHAHA!

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Going Places

It's been awhile now since I last posted any fridge magnet pictures in room8five. The last one was back in May - About a Place and Time, and after that well... lets just say my collection is getting more challenging.

The main reason being is that I seldom (close to never) travel outside of Malaysia before and aside from Sabah and Selangor (which mainly in Subang area), I never really travel to anywhere else. In fact, ALL of my fridge magnet collection is a love gift from friends around.

I am really thankful for good friends. Hopefully it will be an inspiration for me to save up and go travel in 2012. Before then, here's a few new fridge magnet collection that I have!

Australia - I got it from Mikhal who came back from studying in Australia.

Rome - This one is from Yosia who went to Europe for the first time for work purposes.

Thailand - I sort of 'force' Hazel to buy for me when she was there for work purposes, haha.

Philippines - A love gift from Kevin, who's currently working in Philippines. Can't wait to see him soon!

Indonesia - This one is from Chris who just recently came back from his hometown.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

A Date with Jayesslee

Yup, that's the closest I can get with the twins and also my newly skinny body! Now you can start to be very jealous of me, haha! Ain't life is just so wonderful that we can have everything that we wanted just like that?!

Olla people!!! Happy Monday! I know I have been promoting a lot about the twins in room8five recently, not because I'm a real hardcore fan but mainly its because I get to know them since way back in college when my roommate first introduced me to their 'Officially Missing You' cover.

I have watch them grow ever since, to the Youtube celebrities that they are now. Its not an easy thing to do what they are doing, and for me, I appreciate people that have determination in pursuing their passion - Jayesslee is one of those people.

I didn't went for their autograph session on Friday, nor do I attend their concert on Saturday, but I sure did attended church when they are our guest performer. Finally I get to listen to their harmonic signature of 'HI' live! I'm a guy who is so easy to be please :D

They even shared a testimony about the death of their mother because of cancer. It's not an easy thing to go through when you know someone who is very close to you is going to leave you forever. At time we felt so hopeless because there is nothing we can do to help or do to change the circumstances, but with God, there is always a way to overcome it.

I kid you not, I did get to see them like in a very near distance and they are just both oh so lovely :D

Jayesslee in CHCKL Part 1 and Part 2.

Anyway, it has been a fun filled weekend. Tired, but fruitful. How about your weekend? Do share a bit in the comment below ^^

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Scarlett Johansson is Black Widow

No, this is not a story about her leaked photos. The Avengers is coming out next year and everyone is super excited with the trailer (so am I). I can't wait to see all the superheroes, especially Black Widow since the hot Scarlett Johansson is playing the character. She is the closest super hero that any normal human being can get, unless that Ironman technology already exist and we have a right person with the right mind to wear the iron suite then I'm still sticking with Black Widow :D

Here's the lovely Scarlett;

How Are They Human?

The video above has become viral in the internet. If you can't take it then please don't press the 'play' button because it will just tear you apart from the inside out.

I've just finish watching the video in Facebook when Aemy asked me to watch it in her post, I don't have the heart to watch it the second time because it is just too inhumane, and I am really pissed off about it.

A 2 year old girl (Yueyue) was hit and run by a van, that is already cruel and damn wrong! The worse thing is that all the people who was around just walk pass the little girl as if nothing happened! As if she is not there lying down bleeding! What kind of animal are they?!

My heart was torn apart when the second vehicle ran into the little girl again! ARGH! That is insane and no one tries to do anything! I was basically ripped apart when one of the lady tried to help the little girl up and only notice how worse is her condition. Seeing how the little girl's body like that really breaks my heart. Finally the mom came and took the little girl to the hospital.

Has our society grown too selfish and only care for our own self, and that we could allow our self to do nothing or care less when someone is dying and begging for help in front of us?! What happened to the human conscience? What happened to them?!!!!

I will never allow people that I know and myself included to be so cold blooded! NEVER!

According to the news, Yueyue is currently in a very difficult situation. It really breaks my heart to watch or even read about it. Please do pray for Yueyue that she will be able to recover from this horrible accident. I beg that God will have mercy for her and deliver her out from this hell that she is going through.

Naked Train Ride

I don't know if you have read the news or not but apparently back in August, in Shanghai, China, girls prefer to change clothes inside the train rather than in a fitting room. Now the girls didn't go all naked like the post title says, hehe, but then again... it is still a very distracting view to have inside a train.

So my question to everyone (including the guys), if it was a super emergency situation, e.g. late for work/interview or costume party or... (well basically I can only come up with that), will you still take the risk and change your outfit in a public transport?

Hope to hear your answers!

The Bright Light

by Daniel Chiam

What's in God's mind when He created you?
Ever so lovely the craft of a Grandmaster,
Picture perfect arts astonishingly marvellous.
No words nor forms that could describe you.

The bright light that breaks dominion of night,
Stood up so high yet so humbly serving others.
I stand amaze by the warmth of your light,
While you shine the earth for me and others.

*The moon is so bright tonight. Brings back a lot of memories of the past. Love you all and God bless =)

[Movie Review] The Three Musketeers (2011)

One for All 5/10

If you are familiar with the story by Alexandre Dumas, then the movie will be a lil' bit of a love hate relationship for you. It's a bit off from the original story line but in term of the film itself, it does brings a fresh breathe to a story that's age more than 100 years old.

Be reminded that this is only part one of the series, and so far it is okay for me. The movie is a steampunk-influence reinterpretation of the novel and there's few elements that you get to see in the movie that doesn't exist in the novel.

Overall it is still a great fantasy adventure movie to enjoy. Its going to be a lil' bit loose here and there if you are not familiar with the novel, especially with the characters build but I will still recommend my friends to watch the movie :D

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Expensive Informations

Most of you are very familiar with Lok Lok, a steamboat meal on wheels. I would never purposely went to Lok Lok just to eat, because its darn expensive and not worth the money... not until yesterday night. Yes I broke my own rule and I ate. Let's do more workout!

I was just emotional, sick, lonely and hungry. Staying inside the room alone with nothing to do is just so depressing. So I went out to take a fresh air and decided to eat Lok Lok that has been ages parked nearby my condo and I have never once visited it.

Being the normal me, I am very approachable, easy to talk with and basically I'm just friendly. I ended up chatting with the guy who is taking care of the Lok Lok. Apparently he's also from Sabah, has been here for almost 8 years now, an ACCA graduate and is getting married next year.

Only through our conversation, I get to know that this Lok Lok business is actually a product, a franchise and those people that drive around the vehicle are only the sales person. Lok Lok is an organization, and all this while I thought its an individual business.

According to the guy, their basic salary for a day is RM10 but their monthly income plus commission can reach up to RM7K - RM10K plus! The money is tempting, and with my current situation I do feel like becoming a Lok Lok sales person. Then again, I really don't see myself as one. Nothing  is wrong with the occupation, but it's just not me!

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Early Crush | Avril Lavigne

One of my early crush during high school is none other than Avril Lavigne herself! Rebellious rock chick that plays guitar and really know how to rock and roll, haha. The feature of her face is just amazing. Mesmerizing eyes with heavy eye liner, luscious lips... not to mention the fangs also.

After 9 years, she's still one of my favorite female artist. I personally think her first two album is still the best compare to he next two album after that. Then again, I do love some of the songs in that two album.

Anyway, I don't know where I'm going with all this but she's my favorite!

So here some pictures of her :D

Few songs from her that get me up when I'm down =) :: Anything but Ordinary :: :: Freak Out ::

Clubbing Scene with DJ Roxy June

After reading a few entry by other fellow Sabahan blogger about Hennessy - Artistry "Global Art of Mixing" Party @ Whiteroom, Sabah, I really wish I was there! They were giving away free tickets for bloggers too!

Anyway, the main reason why I want to go because of this person:

Roxy June

If you have no idea who she is, she is the hottest deejay from Thailand and yes I do make sure that it's a SHE and not a HE/SHE, haha.

Absolutely gorgeous and I do wish to see her in person. I don't really like clubbing but for her, I will endure the loud music and the squeezing crowds just to meet her up close and personal :D

Here's more of her!
