[Movie Review] X-Men: First Class (2011)

X-ceptional! 8/10

If you are not a fan of X-Men yet, and you have been listening or have being seeing fragments of every little bit of movies that's related to X-Men, then I strongly believe that after watching this prequel of the first X-Men movie, you will run to the sign up booth and registered yourself as a fan of the X-Men series.

This is by far one of the best prequel that has ever been made for movie series. It's really core to the core and origin of the origin of the story. This is the movie that made you go "Oh... that's how it happened!" (provided if you have never watch this part of the story in comic or the cartoon on tv before).

The story line is just brilliant and exceptionally well arrange. There was not a dull moment for you to sigh but even more frames per second for you to be amazed and to be in awe. This is truly the best X-Men series yet so far.

All in all, the actions is there, characters build is there, story line - fantastic, and its an overall close to perfect score for a movie of its own kind. It will worth every penny of your cents to watch it in the cinema. On a last note, you'll get to know why Mystique feels blue all the time, haha (lame joke).

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Becoming Mr. Romantic

by Daniel Chiam

A picture of this guy managed to won RM50 from The Star newspaper. I was there too and I even helped him to sign the appeal notes. I can't be the voice of many but some girls do find this a romantic thing to do. Go up to the front line and risk everything just for the love of his life.

If you happened to watch all the romantic wedding proposal on Youtube, you will know that being romantic, is about taking a whole bunch of effort into making things happened. Idea, planning, execution, improvisation and yes of course your sincerity and a whole lots of your love.

Romanticism is not dead yet. It's just that men are getting more lazy each day. We always opt for the easiest way to make the girls happy. We buy them things, expensive things. When they are happy with the things they get, they don't really care whether we guys are romantic or not, haha (girls, correct me if I'm dead wrong. At least that's how some of the guys think).

You know, staying up until 4 in the morning just to figure out how to tie a few chocolate together to look like a bouquet of flowers is not easy. Especially when you are creatively challenged and you don't have all the materials in order to make it happened. Even if it didn't turn out like you wanted it to be, but its still the efforts that's matter.

If you want to be romantic and sweet toward your love one, its all about the effort, effort, effort and more effort. A long lasting relationship don't come easy without any effort to keep the sparks alive.

I just wanted to write this in order to remind myself in the future when I am getting too comfortable in a relationship and was too lazy to do anything special and sweet for the one I love.... Okay, long way to go but its never too late to keep a reminder, haha.

Taking a Break and Rearranging

Somehow somewhere in my life, I have over pushed the limit and now, I am exhausted. I need a break to get back on track, to re-align everything in my life again. Happy month of June everyone!

I found a very interesting poem while browsing through the world wide web. It's amateur but somehow I find it really nice to read. Simple and sweet as they said.

Secret Love

I could never tell you my true feelings,
That I feel for you.
I'll keep them to myself,
What I feel is true, you see.
But I know we can never be,
Too many things to get in our way.
I can only dream of you holding me one day,
I think of you with every waking minute,
And long for you each night.
Wish I could share with you, what is in my heart.
But I am afraid you don't feel the same,
And my heart will be torn apart.
So for now, I'll keep my secret to myself,
I'll just keep Praying that someday,
You'll take me by the hand, and tell me you feel the same way.
Until then I'll just keep loving you,
And hope that one day, you will love me too...

Hot Hottest Hotness!

by Daniel Chiam

Ladies and gentlemen, this is miss Elly Tran Ha. A blogger from Vietnam who soar to fame because of her hotness. Her father is a terrorist because she is a bomb!

Anyway, this is not the hot issue that I wanted to share today. I wanted to share about something that's more dearly and close to all our heart - the weather.

I'm sure everyone of us is feeling the heat from mother earth lately. I guess she's really pissed off with what earthling has done to her over the few centuries. That's why she came up with summer, a lighter version of the end of days, haha.

Human is selfish. The only person that we care about is ourselves. Some just work too hard to buy the most expensive coffin for themselves so that they could sleep comfortably for the rest of their life. These people just cut downs trees and pollute the earth without caring much of what the consequences is.

Now thanks to those filthy rich idiot, we Malaysian has no chance to experience snow in our country because of the heat caused from global warming. The snow melt somewhere up there in the sky before it could be visible to any of our human eyes and we named those water drops as rain. I want snow!

Aite, enough crap talk. The heat was getting into me when I was writing this post. I can't think straight. Please take good care of mother earth, it is still the Mother's day week.

Don't leave the fan on when you are not using it. You said its to cool off the room but actually you are creating wasted energy and extra heat to the environment. Don't turn on too much light when you don't actually need that much. Again it will only create extra heat.

Start from something simple. Learn to go greener than green. We are cleaning up the mess from the past, and I don't want my children and children's children to have to clean up our mess and blog about how irresponsible we are.

I AM

I am: yet what I am none cares or knows,
My friends forsake me like a memory lost;
I am the self-consumer of my woes,
They rise and vanish in oblivious host,
Like shades in love and death's oblivion lost;
And yet I am! and live with shadows tost

Into the nothingness of scorn and noise,
Into the living sea of waking dreams,
Where there is neither sense of life nor joys,
But the vast shipwreck of my life's esteems;
And e'en the dearest--that I loved the best--
Are strange--nay, rather stranger than the rest.

I long for scenes where man has never trod;
A place where woman never smil'd or wept;
There to abide with my creator, God,
And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept:
Untroubling and untroubled where I lie;
The grass below--above the vaulted sky.
