3/10 Just to complete the series
All the original main cast is once again reunited for what-I-think-is a final showdown for the series, tho the ending might suggest otherwise. Sad to say, not much of hoo haa to cheer about for the reunion. In many ways, the movie does portrait that all of them are already grown up, and they just can't pull off any more teenage humor.
I'm a fan of American Pie, and watching American Reunion is just for me to complete the series. Whether its awesome or just simply not living up to the expectation, it really doesn't matter anymore.
None of it makes much of an impression, although there are a few nice and surprisingly heartfelt moments around the edges.

I didn't even know that it's out already haha. Oh well, I rarely expect its sequels to be as good as the original trilogy. The third instalment should've been the end.

ReplyDeleteI was never a "fan" of American Pie. But then when we watched all 4 of it, it's definitely on my 'will re-watch' list. It's entertaining!
